About Ellie Mayes

Originally from Maryland, Ellie came to North Carolina as a student at UNC Greensboro. She married Chris in 1991, and in 1995 they moved to the Triangle to raise their family near loved ones.

After 14 years as a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling her kids while running small side businesses, Ellie decided to take her passion for homes and turn it into a career. She got her real estate license in 2012 while working as an executive assistant, then followed that up with a home staging certification in 2013. By 2014, she was running UpStaging Designs and UpMarket Realty, bringing together her love of real estate sales and marketing with her skills in home staging.

As Broker-in-Charge at UpMarket Realty and a stager at UpStaging Designs, Ellie splits her time between helping clients buy and sell homes and preparing those homes to look their absolute best. Her staging expertise is a huge asset for her real estate clients, and she's always happy to work with other Realtors' clients as well.
